"Dialogue is really aimed at going into the whole thought process and changing the way the thought process occurs collectively."

David Bohm

Consumers will be inspired to make purchasing decisions by using sustainable criteria and create demand for products, services and systems that have been designed responsibly.

The educational sector will provide insights into current design education and will facilitate a transition and integration of economic, environmental and social criteria into the design curriculum. It is in our best interest to adopt a systemic approach in learning, whether the subject is design or any other, so future practitioners have the skills and ability to understand and work in interdisciplinary teams in future business settings.

Schools, colleges & academia will provide the setting for the education of future producers and consumers and continue developing design theory.

Government will continue to champion sustainable development through public policy innovation in consumption and production through programs such as the Integrated Product Policy which decouple economic growth from environmental degradation and inefficient resource use.

Collaborative sponsoring partners will develop design concepts from the competition entries to continue creating products, services and systems that contribute towards the creation of a sustainable society.

Professionals will be inspired and acknowledged to design, produce and work systemically by incorporating economic, environmental and social criteria into the design.
