Terry is Managing Director of the nowherefoundation specialising in the research and design of co-creative practices in organisational and social systems. Working in a range of commercial, government and education sector organisations, Terry is particularly interested in exploring the dynamic relationship between knowledge, innovation and learning.
A former teacher of design in secondary schools, Terry conducted research into the place of values in the Design and Technology curriculum. As part of a continuing focus on R&D in education, he is currently leading a groundbreaking, government funded project that utilizes systemic and phenomenological principles to remove the blocks that prevent many children connecting fully in learning in school situations.
Terry was previously Head of Corporate Development Services at Wiltshire County Council. Here he led the development of research and consultation through inclusive processes that enabled stakeholders to actively influence and plan important social, environmental and economic aspects in their local communities.
